Step 1: Assess

Identify the root issue.

Leaders may not know what exactly needs to change, but they often know there is a problem. These issues are a common starting point in our conversations with customers. Perhaps an important process is under-performing, resulting in frustrated employees and wasted resources. TriQuest listens to understand the goal. What does success look like? What budget and time-frame will work? Can we make the change all at once, or do we need to complete in stages?

Step 2: Design

Create an actionable plan.

An actionable plan provides specific outcomes and is measurable. What is the most cost-effective way to proceed? Sometimes this is a simple project; sometimes it is a multi-year plan. Once the plan is approved, it’s time to move forward.

Step 3: Install

Work the plan.

This is the exciting part. All the equipment arrives and is installed. Process efficiencies improve and reliability increases. The technology is set up correctly and ready for operation.

Step 4: Support

Provide operational support.

IT requires support, like any complicated system. Here, TriQuest's focus shifts to keeping things operating as expected. This includes a support desk to fix things fast when they glitch, maintenance to avoid preventable problems, and patching to keep everything current.

Sometimes, that looks like an internal employee onsite, working at the customer’s business all day. Other times, TriQuest support is remote. The right answer is the one that provides support to ensure the stated requirements are delivered consistently.

Step 5: Review

Measure results and adjust.

How are things going? As time passes and things change, IT must adapt to meet the new requirements. This process is used, starting at step 1, whenever business requirements call for an improvement in IT.
